The Hadith Narrators...

Anas bin Malik was well-known in this whole wide world.
We always heard this name but, did we know who he is ??

*i'll just give in point*

• his full name Anas bin Malik bin Nadar al-Khazraj al-Ansari
• Year of birth - 606 CE
• Year of died - 93 AH (714 CE) *al-Basrah [103 years old]
• He was an Ansari of the Banu Khazraj.
• He was born to Ummu Sulayem (of the Banu Najjar) and Malik ibn Nadr. After the father of Anas died a non-Muslim, his mother remarried a new convert (Abu Talha ibn Thabit) and he gained a half-brother Abdullah ibn Abu Talha. He had been presented to The Prophet Muhammad by his mother at an early ago.
• After The Prophet Muhammad's death in 632, he participated in the war of conquest and went to Damascus and later settled in Basra.
• He was one of the longest living companions of  The Prophet Muhammad.
• One hundred and sixty eight (168) hadith narrated on his authority are to be found in the collection of Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
• He is he one of the major narrators of hadith and like all of the Sahaba, is considered trustworthy by Sunni Muslims.
